Mission, Vision and Objectives

Mission

The mission of the LAU Louis Cardahi Foundation is to disseminate knowledge about the history of Lebanon in general and the city of Byblos (Jbeil) in particular.

Vision

  1. To gather all possible information about the city of Byblos (Jbeil), both from Lebanese and foreign sources.
  2. To maintain permanent contact with establishments, institutions, universities and research centers in Lebanon and abroad.

Objectives

  1. To perpetuate the memory of Louis Cardahi and sustain his convictions: 
  2. To actively demonstrate concern for mankind and its cultural, social and moral development.
  3. To search for an in-depth knowledge of Lebanese history while protecting heritage and training citizens.
  4. To strengthen the connection between Lebanese citizens and their roots through knowledge and action.
